Technical Hurdles:Associated Design Group, Inc. provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) design services for the Cameron Parish Jail, located within the Cameron Parish Law Enforcement Complex. The facility was designed to accommodate up to 88 inmates, with specialized housing units for 16 women, 26 maximum-security men, 20 minimum-security men, 8 juveniles, 4 medical cells, 2 isolation blocks (2 each), and 10 holding cells.

Logistical Constraints:The design required careful coordination of life safety systems, secure HVAC, and resilient plumbing/electrical systems to meet strict state and parish codes.
