Carencro Veterans Memorial
- Carencro, Louisiana
Technical Hurdles:Associated Design Group, Inc. provided electrical and plumbing engineering services for the Carencro Veterans Memorial, a project that carries significant meaning for both the Carencro community and our team. The scope included the design of electrical power extensions from Carencro City Hall to support flagpole illumination, streetscape lighting, and decorative pathway lighting. In addition, new plumbing connections for water faucets were integrated into existing utility lines to support landscape maintenance and public use.
Logistical Constraints:The memorial site, located prominently in front of Carencro City Hall and across from St. Peter Catholic Church, required careful coordination to blend engineering systems seamlessly with the architectural vision of Carencro Architect Lynn Guidry. Sensitivity to aesthetics, community symbolism, and minimal disruption to civic operations were key design priorities.
Client Satisfaction & Benefits
The completed memorial provides a serene and dignified public space that honors the military service and sacrifices of Carencro’s veterans. Visitors are welcomed by marble soldier statues and engraved brick pavers, offering a space of gratitude, remembrance, and reflection. The project stands as both a civic landmark and a lasting tribute to the community’s deep respect for its veterans.
Advanced Technology :ADG’s design ensured reliable, efficient lighting systems to highlight the memorial’s symbolic features, while water service enhancements supported the long-term upkeep of the site. The integration of energy-efficient illumination and durable utility connections ensures the memorial remains a place of honor for generations to come.
