Forum Energy

Forum Energy

- New Iberia, Louisiana

Technical Hurdles:The Forum Energy project involved the design of a new 130,010-square-foot machine shop and a 26,330-square-foot office building, requiring fully integrated mechanical systems for two distinct operational environments. ADG’s scope included sprinkler, plumbing, HVAC, and ventilation systems for both the office and manufacturing areas. The challenge was to balance industrial-grade shop systems with the comfort and efficiency standards expected in office spaces, all while accommodating a total air conditioning load of 525 tons.

Logistical Constraints:Coordinating the installation of large-scale HVAC equipment, shop ventilation systems, and compressed air piping in a high-ceiling industrial facility demanded precise planning. The integration of gas piping for heating and specialized equipment, alongside domestic water and compressed air systems, required sequencing work to avoid delays and ensure compatibility with the building’s structural and operational needs.

Client Satisfaction & Benefits

The client praised ADG for delivering a robust, high-performance mechanical infrastructure that supports both heavy manufacturing operations and comfortable, efficient office spaces. The design ensures reliable heating, cooling, and ventilation while minimizing downtime and operational costs.

Advanced Technology : ADG engineered industrial-grade shop ventilation systems paired with high-efficiency HVAC for office spaces, ensuring optimal air quality and temperature control. The mechanical design integrated domestic water piping, gas piping, and compressed air systems, creating a fully coordinated solution tailored to the facility’s diverse operational requirements.
