Technical Hurdles:Associated Design Group, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEP/FP) design and construction administration for this state-of-the-art healthcare facility. The first phase consisted of a 189,000-square-foot, three-story structure, strategically designed to support three future floors while incorporating the latest medical diagnostics and treatment technologies.
Logistical Constraints:The project required a future-ready infrastructure to accommodate phased expansions, including two additional Medical Office Buildings and a parking garage. Design challenges included planning for seamless system scalability, coordinating MEP/FP systems across multiple phases, and ensuring compliance with healthcare safety codes and standards without interrupting long-term operational performance.
