Laborde Earles Injury Lawyers

- Lafayette, Louisiana

Technical Hurdles:The Laborde Earles Law Office Building was a ground-up, two-story, 18,397-square-foot facility designed and constructed between 2016 and 2017. ADG provided full electrical, fire protection, mechanical, and plumbing engineering services for the project. Originally planned for separately metered tenants across both floors, the design was adjusted mid-construction as the law practice expanded, requiring the utilities to be combined into a unified system. The challenge was to adapt system designs quickly to meet the client’s changing needs while maintaining project timelines and compliance with energy standards.

Logistical Constraints:Accommodating construction adjustments during the project required close collaboration between ADG, contractors, and the client. Mechanical systems were designed using split system DX HVAC units, balancing efficiency with flexibility. Electrical and lighting systems needed to meet LEED Silver energy efficiency standards, while integrating color-changing LED exterior lighting to provide a unique visual identity during holidays and special events.

Client Satisfaction & Benefits

The client praised ADG for delivering adaptable, efficient building systems that met evolving requirements during construction. The facility now operates as a modern, high-performance office, providing comfort and energy efficiency while enhancing brand visibility with its customizable LED exterior lighting.

Advanced Technology :ADG incorporated split system DX HVAC units for reliable climate control, LEED Silver-standard lighting systems for sustainability, and programmable color-changing LED exterior lighting that allows the building to represent holidays and community events with vibrant displays.
