Technical Hurdles:Associated Design Group, Inc. delivered full MEP/FP design services for the complete demolition and replacement of the existing Lafayette High School campus. The new 313,248-square-foot, three-story facility incorporates state-of-the-art classrooms, administrative offices, a full-service kitchen, a combined cafeteria and auditorium, a spacious library, and multiple gymnasiums.
Logistical Constraints:The project required careful planning to replace an active, aging campus with a modern educational environment that could meet the needs of a large and growing student population. Systems were designed to balance energy efficiency, safety, and long-term reliability while maintaining a cohesive integration across academic, dining, athletic, and administrative spaces.
The new campus provides enhanced learning spaces, advanced technology infrastructure, and modern amenities to support both academic and extracurricular programs. With robust MEP/FP systems in place, the facility delivers energy efficiency, comfort, and safety, while offering flexibility for future growth.
