Technical Hurdles:Associated Design Group, Inc. provided Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection, and Electrical services for the renovation of the Talbot Theater and adjoining spaces. The project included the renovation of a 5,500-square-foot theater and approximately 13,710 square feet of classrooms, studios, radio stations, and office spaces across the first and second floors. ADG designed the replacement of approximately 100 tons of air conditioning capacity, along with four complete bathroom group replacements..
Logistical Constraints:Theater and lobby lighting were upgraded with modern LED fixtures, delivering reduced energy consumption, lower heat output, and minimal maintenance requirements. To ensure safety and reliability, a new lighting protection system was integrated to safeguard both the theater structure and its utility systems, including the new theater lighting control system.
