Technical Hurdles:Associated Design Group, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design for the new Our Savior’s Church campus in Lafayette. The project included a 2,000-seat sanctuary, expandable to 2,500 seats, a dedicated education wing, and a state-of-the-art television broadcast studio to support live-streaming and media production. Additional program spaces included a children’s worship hall and a full-service coffee shop, requiring flexible systems to accommodate diverse occupancy levels and functions.
Logistical Constraints:Design considerations focused on delivering energy-efficient systems that balance comfort for large-scale worship gatherings and smaller community uses. The television studio required specialized electrical distribution, acoustical coordination, and lighting controls, while the coffee shop and children’s spaces demanded custom HVAC zoning and plumbing solutions for high-use reliability. ADG also planned infrastructure with future growth and expansion in mind to support the church’s long-term ministry goals.
