River Center Library
- Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Technical Hurdles:The River Center Branch Library is a four-story, 54,000-square-foot facility designed as a modern community hub in downtown Baton Rouge. ADG provided complete MEP systems design for this award-winning project, ensuring the integration of cutting-edge technology with reliable building infrastructure. The library includes unique spaces such as a maker space, green screen film stage, and a professional recording studio, requiring advanced mechanical, electrical, and acoustic coordination to meet performance needs.
Logistical Constraints:The design needed to support both traditional library functions and innovative learning environments within a single structure. ADG carefully engineered systems for flexible usage, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability while ensuring compliance with modern codes. The result is a facility that blends sophisticated technology with accessible community learning spaces.
