Technical Hurdles:Associated Design Group, Inc. provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) engineering design for the Teurlings Catholic High School Stadium. The project scope included stadium seating, concessions, restrooms, and locker room facilities. ADG’s engineering team designed efficient HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to meet the operational needs of a high-occupancy athletic venue while ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.
Logistical Constraints:Designing for peak-capacity events required careful planning of electrical distribution, plumbing systems, and fire protection to handle heavy spectator and team use. Stadium lighting had to deliver optimal field visibility while minimizing glare and energy consumption. Ventilation and cooling systems were engineered for locker rooms and support spaces, ensuring reliable comfort and durability in a high-use environment.
