Technical Hurdles:Associated Design Group, Inc. provided Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design services, as well as construction administration, for the new A.B. Freeman School of Business facility at Tulane University. Located between the existing business school building and McAlister Auditorium, the facility was designed to house the university’s graduate business programs.
Logistical Constraints:The project required integrating modern MEP/FP systems into a high-profile academic facility while ensuring compatibility with Tulane’s existing campus infrastructure. ADG’s design focused on system reliability, energy efficiency, and fire safety compliance, supporting both administrative functions and academic activities within the business school.
The facility provides a state-of-the-art learning environment for Tulane’s business students, enabling collaboration, research, and professional development. With ADG’s design, the new graduate business center achieves operational efficiency, enhanced occupant comfort, and long-term sustainability.
