Ascension Episcopal School – Sugar Mill Pond Campus

Technical Hurdles:ADG Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEP/FP) design for the new high school campus at Sugar Mill Pond. The project included a classroom building featuring administration offices, library, science labs, art studios, and general classroom spaces. Additionally, a competitive gymnasium was designed to house locker rooms, weight training areas, concessions, and multipurpose meeting spaces.
Logistical Constraints:The design required careful planning to balance the academic building’s educational needs with the gym’s athletic and event requirements. Integration of HVAC zoning, plumbing infrastructure, and fire protection systems ensured optimal performance for both instructional and athletic facilities. Special attention was given to energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and safety compliance across the campus.
